Caveat Emptor

caveat-emptor.jpeg

I hate to say it, but not everything I make works out quite the way I planned.  I know, it sounds crazy, but apparently I'm not perfect.  I had a hard time believing it at first too, but there you have it.

(To be clear, I created this collection for my friends and family, who love buying my janky stuff for pennies on the dollar.)

The pieces in this collection came out wrong, one way or another.  Some are lop-sided, some have cracks in them, wrong shape or size, whatever.  I can't exactly list these things for sale with my normal work.  Funny thing is, they all work just fine, and will last a good long time if you aren't rough with them.  Think of this as the "Isle of Misfit Toys"

So what I do is, I list them here, at a very deep discount off of what their list price would have been.  Take them, love them, (they deserve a good home), but don't try to return them, because all sales are final.

    Large Frit Spoon-1

My simple frit spoons have come a long way since the beginning. This guy (one of four I made yesterday) is a thing of beauty, just like her sisters. Thick as hell, it has a nice solid weight to it, and feels very sturdy in your hand. Unfortunately.....
